What is a drone?

 A drone is an aircraft robot machines that don’t need a pilot to fly them, rather they rely on GPS root to fly them.

A drone can be remotely controlled or can fly autonomously through the use of programed control software.

As such a drone can either be a UAV= Unmanned Aerial Vehicles or RPAS= Remotely Piloted Aerial Systems.

Drones come in different shape, design and size. From tiny ones to robotic ones with different functions features, and specification. 

There are different types of drones and they are classified according to the number of fan or propellers.

What are the different types of drones?

Tricopter

TRICOPTER DRONE

 

These are drones with three propellers position in X or H shape, they are cheap to purchase, fast but not as fast as a Quadcopter.

Quadcopters 

QUADCOPTER DRONE WITH  FPV glasses

 

These are drones with four propellers, they are expensive and powerful than the Tricopter, faster but not as fast as the Hexacopter

Hexachopters

HEXACOPTER DRONE

 

These are drones with six propellers, they are expensive than the Quadcopters capable to reach greater height, and faster than the Quadopters

Octacopter

OCTACOPTER DRONE

 

These is faster, more expensive with high pixel camera and can shot video in a wide angle range with eight propellers and due to its large size flying indoor is impossible.

Well when shopping for a drone, these features below should be considered 

            
            1.         Camera

are all the cameras of your phone the same?

We should know that it varies as some can shoot in a very close range, some in short range, while others in wide-range drones.

also note that not all drones have cameras and some have a low quality camera

        2.    Stabilizers

They help with striking and cutting out drones at the end of playing to assist in getting the perfect finish.
 Stabilizers also help to steady the tone of drones bagpipes as well as make your bagpipes easier to play.

        3.       GPS

This help for proper navigation.
 beginner drones usually do not have GPS, but more advanced drones make use of GPS receivers within the navigation and control loop which allows for some smart GPS drone navigation.

        4.      FPV glasses

this is use to watch where the drone is flying at, like a screen use to safe our drone from hitting something high. also it has built-in controller.
there are different type of FPV glasses with different features so when buying take your time to read the specification.
        
So when shopping for a drone I will advise you to carefully check for the specification in other to know it features also know that the capacity of the battery matters

Else you will end up buying a drone that has a low battery charge or low capacitor.

what are drones use for?

         1.   Commercial aerial surveillance.

drones are use to spy on people and terrorist. not just that it also use to secure some particular place,where CCTV don't access in.  

         2.   Recreational use

one can buy drone for the fun, perhaps as a toy to kill boredom. just like that teddy bear you had as a pretty little growing child.

         3.   Shooting movie  

example of movie where drone is use to shoot part of the movie is LONDON HAS FALLEN (2016) 

the action film begins with a drone strike targeting a terrorist, killed his family leading him to seek revenge.

       what are the disadvantages of drones? 

       1.     IT LIMIT PRIVACY

 drones can follow you around, monitoring all you do without your idea. spy on your activities and send back the footage to who is controlling it. as such your privacy is broken without your knowledge.

       2.   INSTRUMENT OF DESTRUCTION

lot of terrorist pant time bomb or a network bomb that can be terminated by the person controlling it use the GPS. all they need to do is tie the bomb around the drone, then control it to who or where they want it to terminate.
