INTRODUCTIN TO COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY AROUND THE WORLD

Having a computer system is fun, knowing how to operate it, is good but understanding the definition and it component could be a pain in the neck.

Have you ever had a hard time defining something you know how to use better?
I was once like this, all I knew was just the look of a computer why I was growing up but the real definition using key words were unknown to me.

Not until I found myself studying computer science as a course. Do you really know all about the introduction to computer technology? “Mind you time wait for no more!”

What the hell is a computer?
Computer is an electronic machine or device that accepts data as input, process data, store and give out information as output.
Short and simple, isn’t it?

Here are the key words when defining a computer that you should never miss (ELECTRONIC DEVICES, INPUT, PROCESS, STORE, and OUTPUT)

 a perfect example that will remind you of what a computer is and how it performs these keywords.
• A good example is when you want to school in a distance place that sale scratch card for you to obtain and fill their foam online, notice when you buy any scratch card there is always a pin or code in alphanumeric, this code is what you insert in the computer. Here is where the computer accepts the code as input.
 • After inputting the computer then process the code checking it database to know if you did not just make up the code yourself, if the code is genuine you will receive a foam to fill and summit. Here is where the computer process data.
• After filling the foam, you can choose to save it in the computer storage device. Here is when storing take place.
 • Or you can choose to print the finished foam out as information. Here is when the information part comes in. Do you understand or you still need more example? If so then how about the way you send message to one of your friend over social media, don’t you know that the computer accept your message which is a data then process it to know how to send your message and who to send it to, then it save it in it database for you to reference to anytime you need it or print it out should in case there is any argument as a good information.

What the heck is data?

Data is said to be a fact that has not been processed by the computer, this could be inform of picture or words.

If that is data then what is information? 

Information is a data that has been processed, printed or stored. 

  EXAMPLE
Just imagine you want to cook a pot of soup, you will need different ingredient like meat, vegetable E.T. C
 These items are like DATA because it still have not giving the soup you want until you mix the ingredient together. Cooking this together give you a soup, what you need. That is like the INFORMATION in computer system.

But wait why do we say computer is an electronic device?

Computer technology around the world are said to be electronic device because they use electrical pulse to perform operation in form of 1 and 0 which is called binary (digital computer) or inform of amplitude wavelength that varies (analogue computer)
